Concerts

Hmong legends imply that music is a miracle,
Capable of making a waterfall dry, birds numb,
and quenching a deer’s thirst.
– Phan Hong Thoj

Attending a concert of Master Singers, Instrumental Musicians, and Storytellers steeped in ancestral lore, and being part of a larger collective allows listeners a fleeting opportunity to experience the otherworldly, internal impressions that have been expressed externally through melody and rhythm.

Because of its multi-modal, multi-sensory nature, music has the mighty ability to move us at every level—stimulating our body, inspiring our mind, awakening our emotions, and connecting us to our gods.  It is for this that ancestral music plays such a pivotal role in cultures still rooted in Oral Tradition.

Cultural Crossroads Asia welcomes you to our live concerts so you, too, can experience the Primal Power of the Music of the Mountains.
