‘Music in the Menagerie,’ A special concert by Students of the Akha Oral Tradition School.

Cultural Crossroads Asia invites you to join Akha youth from Ban Saen Suk, Chiang Rai, as they perform the songs, musical instruments, and life lessons of their ancestors. After a one-hour concert in the central square from 1 - 2 pm, the children will visit a variety of animal compounds to play music to the birds and beasts.

Hearing age-old Akha music and seeing the lions, turtles, monkeys, flamingos, and giraffes dance and call in response is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. . . See you there!
